Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941, the father of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. The family was moved to Casper, Wyoming with his family in the year 13 when he turned thirteen. He was raised by his father who worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and directed the soil conservation district located in Casper.
