Gerina Stevenson, the Mexican daughter of Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson is born in Mexico. Stevenson is of Mexican heritage, but is American as a national. From the time she was a kid, she's had a keen interest in playing athletics. Gerina started playing golf at the age of she turned 15 years old. Gerina graduated from high school studies at Goddard High School. In the high school level, she was able to win at the New Mexico state golf tournament. Also, she was a volleyball player and competed at the national level. In 2003, she started studying at The University of Texas. In her senior year she was a winner of every tournament that was entered. In the course of her undergraduate studies she was awarded the title as Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the year.
